Sofiya is a friendly young girl who lives with her parents and brother in India. Sofiya’s parents work hard as farm labourers, but they are unable to earn enough money to provide for the basic needs of their family. The family lives in very poor conditions, and Sofiya’s parents cannot afford to send her to school.
Sofiya enjoys learning Marathi language studies in school and hopes to be a doctor some day! When she isn’t in school or helping her mother around the home, Sofiya likes to play games with her friends. Sofiya’s favourite Bible story is about Jonah and pink is her favourite colour.
