Valery is a beautiful little girl who lives with her mother and her sister in a very poor community in Honduras. Her father is not currently part of her life and her mother works as a local vegetable vendor. Unfortunately, her mother does not make enough money to provide for the family’s needs as well as school fees. Life for this family is difficult.
Valery is a very intelligent and quiet child who reading and playing with her friends. She has a hunger to learn, and very much enjoys going to school. Her favourite subject in school is math, and her favourite colour is red. She loves reading about the story of Joseph and his brothers, and when she grows up, she would like to become a doctor.
